This is my eighth and final year as the principal here at MBS.  Before coming to MBS, I was the principal of the Swanton School, where I taught kindergarten for 18 years.  I have also been an administrator responsible for early childhood programs in Franklin County.  I live in Fairfax with my husband, Jeff, and our golden retriever, Belenus, and my cat Max.

Jeff and I have two grown children.  Megan is a teacher in the NYC schools, and Adam is an aspiring improv and stand up artist in Brooklyn, NYC.   I grew up in Jericho, Vermont, and attended the University of Vermont.  When I am not working, I am usually practicing Bikram Yoga (in a hot, hot room – over 100 degrees!), snowshoeing, bike riding, reading, quilting, or cruising around on the Internet looking for interesting news.  I LOVE working at MBS, the kids and families are GREAT and our teachers and staff are wonderful, dedicated education professionals.
